  In Memoriam

I had Mr. Vaught for a couple of classes - he always had me grade papers & help him keep his books in exchange for extra credit. He was one of the only teachers at LQ that I have actually missed & think of often since graduating.

In Bookkeeping I know I copied all the girl's papers, but something stuck. Your instruction gave me a boost in college. I really appreciate what you taught me. Thanks Mr. Vaught!

I had Bookkeeping last period when I was in 10th grade. Mr. Vaught, thank you for letting me eat Snickers bars to help me stay awake and put the debits and credits on the correct sides of the sheet!

I have two teachers to thank for my success in the working world. One of those is Mr. Vaught in whose class I learned 10-key by touch. What a skill to have that I never really realized would come in so handy. Thank you Mr. Vaught!

I was a teacher's aide for Mr. Vaught for two years in Business Machines. A class not alot of ácoolá people took. Mr. Vaught was a gracious, tender man; and my memories of him are fond. Boy, could he work a ten key adding machine! It's a lost art, but he taught it well!
