Today was Jerry`s birthday. Was thinking about him all day....I know he`s looking over all his family and he surely must be hugging his grand kids while they`re sleeping.

Today, is not only Jerry`s birthday,....... but it is a celebration of Jerry`s life as we remember him. As many before have said,...... Jerry was a special person and touched the lives of a many. I grew up with Jerry in the 70`s, and can contest to his mild manner upbeat positive personality and willingness to help others. Jerry liked the outdoors,..... and I can vividly recall the many outings we made together exploring new horizons. I will always cherish the many memories I have of those days past. Farewell and goodbye to an old friend,...... and "thank you" for allowing me to share part of your life while you were here. "Goodbye".

This hits hard. Jerry and I were in Boy Scouts together. He was always cheerful and full of fun. I find it hard to believe he's gone.

Jerry was a great personality. He always was an upbeat kind of guy. It's something that everyone could expect when they mey him. I will miss that and so will many others. So I know where ever he is he will make it a better place to be.

Another friend gone. I spoke with Jerry a bit at the reunion in 1996 as always it was full of laughter. I always had a great time joking around with Jerry he always made everyone smile and feel better. I am so sorry to read about his passing. Jerry you were always good to me. Thanks for the everlasting nickname, Nip. I will always remember being across campus and hearing you yell that, and cracking everyone up on the quad.
