  In Memoriam

Kurt was a childhood friend of mine, as well as my twin-brother Craig... I remember we had fun playing basketball at the church near the Ketland home in Westminster, and we socialized at school often. I wish the best to the Ketland Family, and the comfort in knowing that Kurt lives on in our memories. "God Bless" K.S.

Kurt, you sure do know how to shock people. It seems like only yesterday we were down Brookhurst catching waves. Or in the desert motorcycling. I will probably never understand how someone so active, in good shape, could have a heart problem and leave this world overnight. You were and still are one of my most beloved friends. Sorry I never made it over to youre place to visit. A big regret I'll have to live with. Thanks for the life lesson.? Thanks for all the great memories. God definently broke the mold after making you my friend. I still can't believe you're gone. Fill free to visit me in my dreams. God bless you Kurt and your family. Until we meet again. P.S. Surfs Up! Your Surfin Buddy and Friend for Life. Rory.

I had always remembered Kurt throughout the years...waving 'hi' to me at school everyday...a shy and sweet cool surfer...
