Joyce, I was a classmate of your Dad's and active in student government with him. He took movies of everything we did during our senior year and we were able to show that movie at our 10 year reunion in 1976.We are now planning our 40th reuinion to be held this September 30, 2006 in Irvine, CA and we are trying to find this movie to show again. It is a wonderful history of our Class of 66 and the great thing your Dad did that year for us as a lasting memory. It was a pleasure to have gone to school with him and had him as a friend. My young sister-in-law had him as her teacher when she lived in Whittier Faith faithgold@cox.net

Thank you for your kind words about my dad. He passed away in 1974 when I was 6. He was in a car accident and also in remition from non-hodgkins lymphoma. Although I did not know John Knight well, I was impressed with what I knew. He was a class leader, very active in many activities of his senior class including football and drama. I remember well the basketball games he and my brother and I along with others used to drive to. He was a loud spectator always giving the refs hell and as vocal a supporter of LQ as anyone could meet. But always great fun to be with. Because he was such a public and vocal person it seems odd that no one has any information about his death. If anybody does have any facts about him (military service, accident, illness, etc.) would they please pass it on. Thanks.
