  In Memoriam

Frank was a great husband and father. We had 28 good years together living in CA, AZ, and Mexico. Frank thoroughly enjoyed being a Dad and did a terrific job with his children. Frank practiced what he preached - he was a fine Christian example to all. He was a great husband and an encourager. Just two months before his death, Frank successfully completed a graduate program (UCI) in Financial Planning and passed his national board exams to become a Certified Financial Planner. I'm proud of him as he worked hard to do that on top of a full time job and his responsibilities as husband and father. Friends and family were very important to Frank. I've heard lots of stories about so many High School friends and the good times you all had together. During the last few years of Frank's life when we were living in CA, Frank enjoyed getting together with many of you. Thanks for your part in his life.

I knew Frank longer than anyone, he was my brother, Frank was always an example of the good in everyone. He was a tough act to follow as he and I grew up( more he then I) I realized more everyday how special he was. Frank cared for everyone. He had a strong, special caring for children. Of all the people I've known over the years, my brother Frank was the kindest and most caring, bar none. Whenever my children needed an answer to a question no one could figure out, they would just call uncle Frank. We all miss you so much my brother.

I first met Frank Kellogg when we were both twelve years old. Infact, our birthdays were separated by only two days. We lived on the same street, had similar interests and were best friends for the next 38 years. He was my best man and I was his when he married Miriam. We stayed close friends through our first two years at Orange Coast College, but as we all seem to do, lost touch over the next few stages in our lives. Although we only saw each other on occasion, each visit was a special time for recounting teen-age stories and remembering old friends. Frank was a deeply devote Christian and family man who spoke of being very happy and blessed that he was living such a great life. Unfortunately for the rest of us, Frank contracted cancer and passed on August 29,1999. He left behind his wife Miriam and their three children, Andy, Cris and Jeremy. Although I too have been blessed with great family and friends, I recently was reminded of the closing line from the movie áStand By Meá. Tha
