  In Memoriam

Kevin, It`s been forever but it seems as though we played that Ford concert yesterday! I was shocked to hear of your passing. I heard about Jim`s passing from Michael and we talked about the great time`s we had. I`ve tried to find Scott and Ricardo with no luck. Buddy, you were the best and will be greatly missed. Playing with you, Jim and the rest of the guys in "High Strung" was some of the best memories for me.

Kevin, I just can`t believe I`m sending you this message. My heart is so incredibly saddened over the news of your passing. You have been such an amazing blessing in my and my family`s lives. My only solace is to know that you were welcomed above by Jim, Bernie and Bumper. You were brought back into my life just over three years ago when you became aware of Jim`s terminal illness. You could have protected yourself from the stress and the overwhelming sadness by distancing yourself, but instead, you rose to the occasion and surrounded Jim with all of the love, music and memories of your lives shared together. Kevin, I`ll never forget being awoken, during those stressful months of Jim`s illness, by beautiful music. Upon investigating, I found you with your electric guitar, playing old "High- Strung" band songs for Jim in the backyard of my parent`s home. Even though he wasn`t able to play his base guitar along with you, he was grinning ear to ear and was bobbing his head to the

I remember so many fun times. Listening to the band practice, playing poker with the guys, just hanging out and enjoying the company. Those were times I wouldn`t trade for anything. I am so grateful that you were there to give Jimmy good times in his last days. I couldn`t stay in California at that time to be with Jimmy, only a short visit, but it did ease my mind knowing Jimmy was in good hands. You two had that music bond that never died. My condolences to your family. Thanks for the good memories.
