In Memoriam
Having discovered these pages recently,it has been both a blessing and a shock to me. The blessing to be able to see how some of my friends have done and the reality of the passing of so many friends. Lew was a friend.Lew was not the loud person everybody noticed but the steady true person you could count on to be there friend that there are to little of in this world. Hearing of his passing many years ago doing an heroic and unselfless act did not surprise me, but the news itself brought me pain. I know Mary Jo, who is as beautiful as she was in high school, and her children felt a great loss. But Lew left them the gift of himself that they can carry all of their days. I will miss him greatly.

Lewis Wayne McFarland died in a drowning accident, August 19, 1981. Married Mary Jo Trudeau on October 25th 1971. The LOVE and PASSION of my youth. Lew was the oldert of six brothers and sisters. Today, he has two sons. Lewis T. McFarland, married to Amy, Oct. 28, 2000. His second son, Timothy Wess McFarland, married to Serena, Nov. 28, 1998 and the fruit of their Love has brought Samatha Victoria McFarland into this world on Jan. 10, 1999. His greatness, faith, and love touched our hearts for a very short time, but his family continues to love our beloved Lewis. His legacy continues to grow....áBless our those who dwell in the house of the Lord.á Mary Jo McFarland.....
