Hey Mr.Fichtner, I was thinking about you and Mrs. Fichtner today. Today is Halloween, I sure miss those Halloweens when you and my dad used to sit outside and watch the kids go by. You two would sit out there for hours, and I would just sit there and listen to all the stories you guys told. That was alot of fun. We all miss you.

I took typing in the 12th grade to get enough credits to graduate. I sat in class that was all female and I thought I would die of embarasement. Little did I know that knowing how to type in a world without Computers would be agreat asset! Thank you Mr Fichtner. Bill Wilson Asst. Fire Chief Disneyland Resort

Merv Fichtner was my Typing 1 teacher. He is the only guy I ever saw type 80 wpm on a typewriter. I think I read that he had a phd in Business. He never told his students that he took part in the Normandy invasion back in 1944. Mr. Fichtner had a very strong speaking voice and could project his voice very well in my opinion.
