In Memoriam
As Rick Justice said, Mike was a great guy. My most lasting memory of him comes from a night we were at Dennis Haynes' house watching áBrian's Songá. The lights were down, but near the end of the movie, during Brian's death scene, someone turned on the lights and caught Mike crying. We all had a good time with that and Mike took it good naturedly; we were all so close during those times, it was like an extended family. Thanks Mike for being such a wonderful part of it all. Rick

This is a wonderful web site (I feel like a peek-a-boo), But someone put Mike's name and picture here without anything to say about him. I didn't like that empty feeling that the written memory of him was ignored. First of all, Mike had a lot of friends during and after his high school years, and if they were the letter writing type, this section would overflow with stories of him. My friendship with him was as close as any two guys could get (as it was with him and Dennis Pillsbury), so I'll tell you a little about him. He was a gifted athlete and played in his sophomore year on the best varsity football ('69) team that L.Q. ever had (keep it down class of '72). He was smart.While I was out losing a game of handball to the Goldenwest football coach, Mike was scoring in the top 10% in his college calculus class. He was that kind of smart. In fact, he's the one that got my lazy butt through biology. Mike had a total knockout girlfriend (Cindy Stafford) that cared for him very much.
