Curtis sat behind me in History class. What a beautiful human being he was. Always smiling and friendly. He died much too young. They say only the good die young and how very true that is. I have never forgotten this kid. I didn't know him all too well, but i have never forgotten him. My heart goes out to his family. Jackie Edmondson.

My Dear Brother Curtis, Someone just told me about this web site and I was amazed at how many lives you touched while you were alive. But I guess that should not amaze me. You were always the special one. Curtis, there is not a day that goes by that I do not think of you and think of something you said or did to make me laugh or cry. When I saw that CJ wrote to you, that made me feel even more sad to think that you are not here to see your two great boys grow up. They are both doing good and so dam good looking. They talk to Donnie all the time and keep in touch with him. You & Craig are like one of my own kids and I will always think of you as that. We all miss you. Mom is still great and I know you have good company with Dad up there. Tell him hi for me and that it is not the same in our family without you both here. You are in my heart and soul and will always be. I miss You Bud!!! Love Toots

I remember Curtis and Laurence Labrador going way back to Thomas Paine Elementary, and on through La Quinta High. He was always a cool guy and had a great sense of humor. I recall hearing about his tragic passing. Curtis you are missed.

Curtis, I was crushed when I found out what happen, I always thought you'd be in and out of my life like you had been since we got out of school. I will always hold close to my heart our very special friendship and I will forever be greatful for your love when others only seemed to want to be mean. You were my hero then and always. Lori
