My beloved cousin who was more of a brother not only did we attend school together; I had the privilege of being a cheerleader watching him on the football and track field. My heart will forever have a void for the loss of my best friend and brother. l love you Steve and carry your spirit within me.

To my brother` Steve, how much memories we had. I knew when you worked at my company you had real bad asthma, an now you are gone. So sad, but not in memories we all have of you. WILL B.KING

Steve and I double dated for the prom and ran track together. Man was he fast. I remember him always smiling. Sad to hear of his passing this many years later.

Steve & I grew up just a few houses away from each other and I remember meeting him sometime in the 4th or 5th Grade. We had a great friendship and I can remember hanging out in the summer with him and all the neighborhood kids. He was such a FANTASTIC football player and what a fast runner! I was very sorry to hear about his passing. Too many of that neighborhood kids left us too soon. I will never forget Steve.

You will always be remembered steve ! There was a time I thought I was one of the fastest runners on the soccer field no one could ever catch me, that summer night in 1982 before football pactice when we both ran against each other.There was NO WAY you would win ! I was too fast , well you won that summer night LOL .you where and still are one in a million , we miss you.there where so many good times to talk about, thank you for all of them.. you promised me a 2nd race we didnt get a chance , you save a spot for me up there . we will race again.May god Bless you and your family.. I still cant believe it. I saw Steve just a month before our ten year reunion. He and his wife were shopping in the same furniture store as me and my (late) husband. He was a picture of health and looking forward to our class reunion. Steve was always a kind-considerate guy who was full of life . He was always a joy to be around and will not be forgotten. I know that its been almost ten years now - but, I hope that his wife and daughter are receiving lots of love and encouragement through their loss.

Steve was my little brothers best friend since elementary school. I've known Steve to be a gentle person & was always a great friend & someone easy to talk too. Our family will truly miss him.
