Chris - you were a joy to hang out with, the one sophomore among us seniors! You always had a smile on & were such a good friend to everyone you met. Friends like you come once in a lifetime - I'll see you on the other side!

Even though we weren't the best of friends, I wouldn't have wished anything bad to happen to you. I had just missed the services when I heard you were gone, but I've been to your resting place a couple of times. You were funny off the field and competitive on it. You'll be remembered.

You were always a comedian at heart but you were also always a class act. You had a special gift for understanding how to relate to people. I recall a time when you barely finished a punchline in a group of 10-year-olds, then suddenly becoming deeply respectful when a few adults visited our group. I certainly needed a lot more time to learn that degree of tact. My family thought very highly of you. You showed a great deal of courage and strength at all times. You are remembered.
