In Memoriam

What a great loss, I can still remember Lou when he was just a skinny little boy. He was probably the nicest, sweetest, person I`ve ever met. He had a heart of gold and I have very fond memories of him. Lou...you have always been my hero!

Well it is so very hard when you hear of a long ago friend has left this earth. Lou was like my body guard, He protected me, even when I did not want or need it. He was the BIG brother I did not have. I went to Garden Grove high. And Lou hung out at my house. He was a family friend. And he was bigger then life. The world Lost a big hearted man when he passed. My heart goes out to your family. God Bless Terry Martin (Graham)

It's hard to read of your passing old friend. You and I were so close during high school that even now almost 35 years later, I still recall this time or that with absolute clarity. Roger's nose and haircut, how I playfully felled you with a well placed kick to the knee, how too much party ended up on your shoulders as you sat in the front seat, how Don Santos cracked you up.....I hope all is well with you.

Lou was the first and probably the only freshman that walked on the senior lawn where all the senior males just kind of looked away

Lou was the only friend to write me when I left and was in Army Boot Camp. Just a few years ago I met a man who played football in Orange County in high school. When I mentioned I went to La Quinta, this guy asked me about áthat giant Samoaná. Double teamed, they still couldn't move him. Made a lasting memory for the guy. You're still a hero to me, Lou.

My first hero. A neighborhood legend, his feats of strength and compassion were equally regaled by those who knew him. I miss the big lug. I'm sorry our last encounter ended crossly. I always loved you and respected you. People who knew you never forgot you and I know why. You were larger than life. Remember the big orange jalopy with áDon't laugh you're daughter might be in here.á written on it? I miss you and hope you are finally at peace. Rest easy my brother.

I still remember Lou when he carried on his back what seemed to be about a dozen tackles in the CIF football game. God bless you Lou.

A ágiantá of a man - both in his heart and spirit. He was always over at my parent's house with my brother, Rick. My mom, Rosemarie called him áher soná. He touched the lives of all who knew him. It is a smaller world without him, and one that has one less magical smile.

I will miss you. Although it has been many years, you have been in my thoughts often. All the fun times at my house with Don, Dave and you, those are my favorite memories. This will be a sadder place without you. Goodbye to a great friend. I will love and miss you always.
